1. Film Processing
1.1 Do you develop and scan film?

Yes we develop and scan film in-house! 

1.2 What kind of film do you develop and scan?

We scan your standard film (35mm & 120) as well as a variety of rare film types. Have some rare film, or not sure what it is? Give us a call at 802-652-2400 and we will let you know if we can develop it!

1.3 Where is the film developed & scanned?

The entire film process (developing, scanning & printing) is completed in-house by trusted experts who know their way around all types of film. We never send your film out to be processed elsewhere.

1.4 Can I drop off film when you are closed?

Yes! You can drop off film anytime in the black dropbox that is directly to the right of our door. Simply fill out the information on the envelope provided, place your film in the envelope and slide the envelope in! We check the dropbox everyday

1.5 Do I need to remove the film from my disposable camera?

If you are sending in disposable cameras, you do not need to remove the film, simply send us the entire disposable camera and we will take care of the rest!

2. Repairs
2.1 How does your repair process work?

Drop off your repair for us to look at for a $20 bench fee. Our technicians will then examine your gear and provide you with an estimate of the repair cost in 1-2 weeks. If you decide to go forward with the repair, the $20 bench fee will go towards the cost. If not, we keep the $20 to cover the labor.

2.2 What do you repair?

We repair a ton! Cameras, lenses, projectors, camcorders, and more! Not sure if we can repair it? Give us a call at: 802-652-2400

2.3 How long do repairs take?

While this will vary case by case, our typical turnaround time is 8-10 weeks, starting after you have accepted the estimate. 

2.4 I’m not sure if my camera is worth fixing

Bring it in! We will take it in for a $20 bench fee to take a professional look at it and provide you with an estimate of repair cost in 1-2 weeks. During that time, if we determine it is impossible/ not worth fixing we will let you know! Once you get the estimate you decide if you wish to move forward with the repair or not. If not, we can help you find something in our shop to upgrade to.

2.5 Do you repair projectors?

Yes, absolutely! We do a complete overhaul of Kodak Carousel Projectors for $229

2.6 How do I package my projector to send to you?

Simply pack your projector with at least 6" of packing material on all sides and mail to LeZot Camera, 180 Main Street, Burlington, VT 05401 and be sure to put your name, phone number and email in the box with your projector. Please DO NOT include any slide trays or other accessories with the repair. 

2.7 How do I know when my repair is done?

We will call you! If you haven’t received communication from us, it means we are still working on it. The moment it is ready to be picked up, we will give you a call.

3. Selling Equipment
3.1 What is the process for selling equipment at LeZot?

If you have gear you wish to sell, the first step is to bring it in so that we can take a look at it. We will then provide an offer of either cash value or store credit. Then it is up to you whether you decide to take the offer or not!

3.2 How will I receive my payment?

If you choose to receive the cash value, you will be mailed a check that should get to you after about 2 weeks. If you choose store credit, you will receive a gift card with the amount loaded on, which can be used on anything in the store.
